There are many different items and documents that a seller with need to have and/or be educated on when it comes to to list and sell their home for sale. Here is a list of items that a group of local REALTORS brainstormed to help you start the process:

  • Mortgage verification statement
  • Lawyers info
  • Banking info
  • CMA
  • Marketing plan; preparation
  • Warranties
  • List of service dates for the home
  • Utility companies used
  • Tax info property assessment
  • Real Property Report (RPR)
  • All condo docs
  • Title (REALTOR® can provide)
  • Development permits
  • List of upgrades / renos & contractors/companies used
  • How to prepare home for showings (staging)
  • Agency
  • Market trends
  • Purchase agreement (property inspection schedule, notice, property schedule, addendum/appendix, financing schedule, amendments, financing approval letter, sale of buyer’s home)
  • Buyer brokerage agreement
  • Well report
  • Engineers’ report (for wood basements)
