Cold Calling and Door Knocking Scripts for Real Estate Agents

Door knocking and cold calling are two extremely misunderstood and undervalued Realtor marketing strategies. If you have a compelling piece of content that adds value to the person you are delivering it to,  you will be surprised at how welcoming the “cold” lead on the other end may be to the information you are providing.

Here are a few script suggestions to get you comfortable with reaching out to people in your community about real estate related information:

Just Listed and Just Sold Script

Hello, I am Lindsey Smith with CIR REALTY. I am just calling about a listing in your community. Do you have 30 seconds?

[Wait for response]

We just sold a property in this area, [or just listed], and we have excess buyers for this area that have not found something yet. Are you or do you know someone who maybe thinking of selling in the near future?

Open House Script

Hello, I am Lindsey Smith with CIR REALTY. I am just calling about a listing in your community. Do you have 30 seconds?

We are hosting an open house at 123 Happy Street down the block and we will have all the sold prices and other important information for the community there, and I wanted to invite you to stop by and see how your home is positioned in the market.

[Wait for response]

If yes… Great, we will see you there. Who knows, maybe you know someone who may want to live in the neighbourhood.

If no… No worries. I will leave this invite with you in case anything changes, or who knows, maybe you know someone who may want to live in the neighbourhood.

Market Update Script

Hello, I am Lindsey Smith with CIR REALTY. I am just calling about your community. Do you have 30 seconds?
